Described as having an intuitive touch that is healing but very penetrative; carefully "listening " with her hands to find those stuck areas, Tye blends her nursing background and techniques learned from trainings around the world such as Thailand and Canada.

She is able to see the bigger picture and focus on the whole person and has created a unique style of her own. While Tye has a loyal following and some have been with her from the very beginning, she also loves working with new clients.

Q: What are your COVID Safety Precautions?

All bookings have been moved online in an effort to continue our contactless approach. When you schedule your appointment, you will be asked a series of COVID screening questions.

Even though your practitioner is fully vaccinated (you may be as well), it is required that masks be worn at all times by both practitioner and client. If you forget your mask, disposable masks are available for a fee. If you refuse to wear your mask, do not book an appointment as you will not be permitted in the studio.

A contactless thermometer is used to check temperatures when entering the building. One client at a time will be allowed in the studio unless you are assisting a family member or you are a care taker.

Strict cleaning and disinfecting policies before, during, and after each client are instituted at all times. And as always linen and towels are changed after each client. Hand sanitizer is provided in each room.

Q: What should I expect during my session?

You will be required to fill out a Health History Form and a COVID questionnaire online prior to your appointment. When you arrive and after your COVID screening, we will review your forms together. You will be asked questions to establish what areas you would like worked on and if there are any conditions needing to be addressed.

During this time, we will discuss which modalities are right for you so that you receive the most benefit from your session.

It is important to list any allergies and all health concerns and medications so I can adapt the session to your specific needs and meet your expectations.
Your practitioner may perform certain assessments to evaluate your condition(s).

Q: How often should I get a massage?

It varies from person to person and each condition/problem is unique to the person. After your session, we will discuss an action plan when I have a better understanding of your particular needs. If you are looking to address a specific problem, then it is recommended to go more frequently at first and then slowly taper down to a maintenance schedule.

Q: How early should I arrive?

Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your appointment and text the contact number on the door when you arrive as the door will be locked. If you arrive late for your appointment, your session will promptly end at the scheduled time so that the next client is not delayed. Full payment for your session is expected.

Q: Do I have to take off all of my clothes?

Depending on the session that may not be necessary. However, you can undress to your comfort level. You can leave your undies and bra on or take them off. Remember you will be covered at all times with the exception of the area being worked.

Q: What conditions have you worked with?

Because of my diverse training, I am comfortable working with people with a history of: stroke, heart attack, head injury, high blood pressure, pregnancy, migraines, hip and knee replacement, rotator cuff repair, post-surgery procedures, whiplash, concussion, anxiety, stress, diabetes and etc.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?

Cash, credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover) and local personal checks are acceptable forms of payment.

Q: What happens if I cancel last minute?

Kindly give 24 hours notice for cancelled appointments. If proper notice is not given, you will be responsible for payment in full. If using a gift certificate or massage package session, the gift certificate or massage package session will be redeemed as payment for missed session. If same day appointments are made and the appointment is cancelled or you do not show up, the same policy applies as stated above. Please note: Due to COVID if you are experiencing symptoms or if there is a possible exposure the cancellation policy is waived.

Q: Are my sessions confidential?

As with any health care provider, client confidentiality is very important. All conversation and shared information is kept strictly confidential.

Q: Can I get a refund?

Absolutely, no refunds for prepaid packages, gift certificates or any massage service. You are more than welcome to gift your sessions, gift certificate or packages to a friend or loved one.

Q: What are the age requirement for a massage?

We accept appointments for children under the age of 16 if they are accompanied by a parent or guardian during the service and have a parent or guardian signed waiver. Children 16-18 years old are required to have a parent or guardian signed waiver and are not required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the service unless requested by the therapist.

Q: Do you accept gratuities?

Yes, I do but it is not required. I leave the amount up to the discretion of the client. However, most clients tip 20%.
